How do you know that was the reason?

Couple of sources, both inside and outside the school

That is a violation of the law requiring every child be provided with a free education.

Hope the school has deep pockets because they are about to be sued.

It was provided. If the family chose to not meet the current requirements to receive it, then that’s on them.

What POS parents. Can you imagine putting your 6 yo in that situation?

The parents stuck around though, so they knew the kid would be sent home. I imagine they needed their child to be denied access to school/free public education, in order to file a lawsuit. I personally would never do something like this, but I'm sure the kid will be fine. They are probably taking them out to a pancake breakfast to celebrate the day off.

You are still a horrible parent if you use your kid as a pawn like that. Fight the battle if you want but leave your poor kid out of it.

One of the outspoken APE bro dads basically likened his kid to Rosa Parks and referred to the school board as George Wallace. Disgusting. There are definitely POS parents out there.

He's really something, not representative of APS parents in my experience luckily. I think they are emboldened by being in a group (there are 5-6 like him in APE) but I wonder if they have any teeth in real life.

He has been kicked out of APE.

It doesn’t look like it. He still shows as a group member.

It’s no different than a student being sent home for violating any other school rule.

Covidians will tell you that it’ll take too long and your child will be masked until the end of the year. They secretly hope masks stay until judgement day and also want everyone to take experimental gene therapy reworded as vaccine twice a year for a flu on steroids that has 99.97% survival rate. Try not to laugh.

Redirect student to where it

If student refuses then they will not get in-person instruction

Np: I’ve read the same thing about Taylor on a listserv and on the APE FB page

Yeah, I’m sure it’s the same person posting in all places

Yes, we had children sent home. Different school system, older grades.
