The data also shows, though, that it’s *the same men* over and over. Look at the statistics on what happens when counties bother to test rape kits— it’s exactly the same perpetrators over and over but women victims not being believed (which suggests that the men in law enforcement also don’t consider them people…)

No, the woman would never tell her friends to check out a hotel clerk or bus boy. They would recommend a hotel or restaurant on whether the service and collective experience was good. Some will view these nondescript female workers as sex objects. Women don’t do that, bc we look at them as people in their roles.

The answer is there, I’m afraid. FAR too many men do not recognize women as autonomous beings with inherent rights, but only as property - cumholes and incubators and caregivers/housekeepers. 2022 and while the veneer appears better, the essential lot of women is still fairly awful taken globally.

The other day I read about a 5 year old girl who was murdered by the men in her family for the crime of having been molested. One of those countries that embraces honor killings, where females are mere property. It seems like something foreign to us but then look at the rate of femicide in the USA and you know we are not so very much further advanced.

Thank you....this needed to be said. This is something most men never think about and yet we think about it EVERY day.

No and often women don’t see women as people either! Check out that study where when people view pictures of men their brains view them as a whole person, with feelings and a back story and everything, and when people view pictures of women their brains view them as a collection of body parts, typically sexual body parts.

Apparently we can re-wire our brains to fix this but I didn’t get that far into the research yet.
