Subject: FCYBL-is this allowed?
How do you know what the higher or lower level AAU teams are? Just curious. My kid is not that level.

It’s also the only affordable option for low income kids who want to improve and can’t afford all the private training and private teams and leagues. NCS let’s leagues use scholarship money for fcybl, so a kid can play for $50/season.

Look at the end of the day, it doesn’t matter. I’ve seen some of these select teams play including the IG of that posted. The A teams on this team are not competitive on a global sense. The “star” on this team plays on a PYBL team that doesn’t get any playing time or points. If your kid is not making a 7th grade team it’s because they’re not good enough. That’s fine. Move to Rec and pick another sport.

Sometimes kids want to play at a more competitive level then rec, but they aren’t a star like your son is. What’s hard to get about that?
My son wants to go to Harvard on a full ride. I want a 10m house on the Potomac. I want a yacht. Kids don’t get everything they want. Full stop.
