Tall does not equal good. I say this as a parent of a 6’2 8th grader that happens to be good.
Look at the end of the day, it doesn’t matter. I’ve seen some of these select teams play including the IG of that posted. The A teams on this team are not competitive on a global sense. The “star” on this team plays on a PYBL team that doesn’t get any playing time or points. If your kid is not making a 7th grade team it’s because they’re not good enough. That’s fine. Move to Rec and pick another sport.
lol. Tall doesn’t matter for basketball but you made sure to tell us about your 6’2 8th grade superstar.
Sometimes kids want to play at a more competitive level then rec, but they aren’t a star like your son is. What’s hard to get about that?
