There's a study that says men get a testosterone boost being around attractive women of child bearing age. So even if it's platonic, you still get the high of a hormone surge just being friends.

I think "friend" is a very vague noun. No man actively seeks out and puts energy into a 1:1 relationship with a woman for the sake of being "friends"
This is so gross because it implies there is nothing worth knowing a woman for other than what is between her legs.
But the whole point of the male existence is for what is between her legs. We study, do extracurriculars, to get to good college, then to get good paying jobs. All this for what? Getting laid.
Honestly, this is a good point. The whole point of a woman's existance is to reproduce. And the whole point of a man's existence is to reproduce. We aren't here for any other reason.
What?!
Biologically. We have no other function.
+1
I mean, is this even controversial? Every organism on this planet exists to propagate itself. Some of us do and some don’t, and we of course want to enjoy life in the meantime, but yeah, that’s pretty much it.

Anonymous wrote:Absolutely. I have very close male friends and I have zero attraction to them. I was joking with one of them that he's my 4th brother. His wife can't stand me, although we only talk about children and social and political issues. We've been friends for decades, we met through our children's sports and we've never had any romantic thoughts about each other.

I don’t understand the pp. Don’t men want to achieve things because they themselves are driven? Why would married men keep on pursuing success if they have ready found a partner? This so wild to think that men’s only goal in life is sex and everything else is secondary (including kids). I don’t buy that at all. So many men in long term marriages still want to do well so that they feel successful.
