Crystelle's focaccia didn't bake properly because, as an Italian bread, it owes it's allegiance to Guiseppe.
Love it! I just wish they could have had the usual friends and family party at the end as it feels like they deserved that.

Nobody throws tantrums, they cheer each other on, and there’s no backstabbing. I think the right person won, although I would’ve been happy for any of the three.
Same. I can’t believe I cried.

They don't get into backstory/family stuff until the final episode when there's a brief feature of the three finalists.
I think it could be Covid-related, bc previously they would show all contestants with their family, their home, employment, etc. at some point during the season.
Yeah they did do it a lot more on earlier seasons - and it was often awkward and embarrassing. The show changed channels in the UK and production staff so there was a minor reboot of that kind of thing. Thankfully. Also loving Noel.
Noel is surprisingly funny.
He and Matt are both awful. I miss Mel and Sue so much.

It was quite a shocker. They are serious when they say that they judge on that day/s bakes and not prior efforts. Of the three left, Crystelle is the weakest. It will be interesting to see who wins. I almost hope it is Chigs, which surprises me to be saying...

I don't know if that's true! She has produced some really gorgeous looking cakes - and obviously I can't taste them, but her description of the flavors makes me really want to take a bite. Is it possible she's so pretty it blinds us to her talents?
