You're wrong - our kids play at one of these locations on top teams and developed in Vienna. Talent is talent and grandma doesn't need to play too for you to have it. Don't be stupid.

It is an anonymous forum where people can speak whatever they want to. What do you expect?
Though, doth protest too much, methinks. You probably have an axe to grind with VYS or you have an associatation with another club in ECNL. Which one is it?

Anonymous wrote:Vienna has nearly all of the factors to be a good club. A larger than average house program with good athletes, affluent and committed families, lots of county provided lit turf fields. What they don’t have are good coaches. Eventually the parents figure that out and leave.

Maybe 1 or 2 Max per age group. Maybe none in same age groups. Any age groups with more than 2? Good luck in competing with one ECNL level player per age group.
Not sure about the other age groups, but I think:
'06, 4 solid players left VYS for ECNL teams
Arlington - 2 (this team won the national championship last year for U15)
McLean - 2
'05, VYS has lost at least 5 05 players to ECNL teams
BRYC - 2
McLean - 2
VDA - 1
'04:
Bethesda - 1
And these were all top players at the club.
My guess is these 06s leaft Vienna even before U13 and even went to another club before ECNL. But that's OK. You can take credit.

I must correct a few of your comments:
1) Arlington 06 has shown themselves to be a middle of the road ECNL team. - Arlington 06 is 5-0-1 and in FIRST place in ECNL - https://public.totalglobalsports.com/public/event/2365/individual-team/525/46008/9
2) Not sure what total number of VYS 06s who have moved to MYS over the years is but don’t think some of them are participating in ECNL play for VA United/MYS - TB & PR?
3) There are 3 former 06 BRYC ECNL players on 06 VYS now so there is some movement of talent in the other direction as well. (VYS and BRYC 06 ECNL are pretty evenly matched.) - Agreed, that VYS and BRYC are evenly matched, but which direction is the talent headed?
4) There may be 2 05 VYS players on 05 BRYC ECNL. There is also a former 06 VYS player on 05 BRYC ECNL. - Again, more VYS players headed to ECNL teams.
