It's interesting that she won a 51-48 victory. Remember a few days ago when WaPo projected Sears to lose 50-46 with a 4-point margin of error? Yet another round of inaccurate polling and statistics. It should be obvious by now that you can't get accurate data for statistical modeling if one side is being painted as "crazy" or "evil."
Do you understand 4-point margin of error?
Do you understand addition?
You think you just add.![]()

We need to stop teaching advanced math because you are going to hurt someone's feelings.
Oh you believe that one too. Does it hurt your feeling you don't understand margin of error?

Huh, did we see the same victory speech?
She is amazing.
Ran a homeless womens shelter
Served on the state board of education
Appointed by Bush to run a VA board
Marine
Immigrant
Naturalized citizen (impressive by itself given the process and citizenship test)
Business owner
1st AA woman elected to the VA house of delegates
Accomplished, brilliant, strong, independe t conservative woman.
But but but she must be a racist neo nazi Trumper because we can’t possibly evaluate a republican based on anything but a snap judgement

She doesn't care about appealing to NOVA voters. That's the entire point.
She going for the Virgitucky vote.
But I thought all ‘those people’ are too racist to vote for a Black candidate. Isn’t what the Dems always say?
They love to have a few tokens so it can validate themselves and they can say they are not racist.

I hope you get everything you deserve by voting for her.

They need to audit the vote counting machines!
No way she won fairly.

Another out of touch liberal. Virginia is not California, it has a gun ownership rate (45%) higher than Ohio (42%) and the same as Texas. The same number for California is 18%.
Just another reason you are losing, you are so out of touch you tried to pass california level gun control levels and lead to a armed march of 40-50k heavily armed men to the state capital.
That's because 1/2 of VA is basically Kentucky.
Also they are stupid enough to think D are trying to take away guns.... they are not.
It's part of the agenda. Unfortunately, the Supreme Court's current makeup isn't going to let that happen.

White people will always vote for people holding up the patriarchy. Just because you have a Black friend or voted for a woman does not mean you can't be racist or misogynist. Look at the Black people and women telling you otherwise. People voted for her because she's holding an enormous gun. They prefer that over voting for a man who takes paternity leave. Let's be clear.
So the black lady is racist?
DP. There is a long and well-documented history of POC discriminating against people just like them, particularly in the employment context and particulars among Black people. It happens for a variety of reasons, but one of the most common is a fear on the part of the Black person that if they are perceived by their white superiors as being “too Black,” they will be blocked from further advancement. They end up going out of their way to not hire, favorably review or promote other Black people to avoid race-based retaliation by those white superiors. It’s not okay when it happens, but it’s understandable in that context.
I don’t know what goes through Winsome Sears’ head to know why she takes the positions she does. But she has come up through a party that is very invested in denying the ongoing existence and impact of racism. As a Black woman, if she bucks that tradition she is toast. There is no political future for her in her party if she defies the Republican stance on race and racism.
So we can't elect minority candidates until you have vetted them for racism?
