VDA 09 is not a good team.

Thank you for your contribution.

long-time bryc parent here. we love the club. the girls and parents are very good people and work very hard. we see improvement for sure, which explains why many players that leave fit right into other encl clubs. however, i would say on my DD team, every new coach says forget what the previous coach taught you, about a quarter of the girls don't even know what formation they're playing in. 442 can mean different things to different players. very little offensive 3rd training. just more rondos. very little defensive training, just more rondos. this leads to good passing midfields but no specialized defenders or forwards. intensity and sloppiness at training reflects the intensity and sloppiness at games. after the recent wave of departures, I would expect many more to leave as well starting with the top players left. i don't see any urgency at the club to fix things at the ecnl levels or at least any communication with parents. perhaps the academy changes will save the club but that will take many years after my DD graduates to be seen

Good job BRYC

There is a coach that caused many to leave.

I’m talking about them canceling games vs VDA yesterday because of “competitive advantage” ….thanks to Mclean

Hey troll. Every age group did not lose. 06 won 4-2. TM abusive? That’s untrue and possibly defamatory. And no, I’m not TM. Just a parent who’s been around a long time
Agree, too many posts defaming people on here
Defaming BRYC seems to be popular. Win some games maybe and make it stop.

BRYC held 1-0 until last few minutes. The severity of losses really depend on which goalie shows up....

If “holding on” is defending 30 yards from your goal, not crossing the halfway line, and getting zero shots for an entire game then BRYC held on against VDA.

Everyone's talking about games vs VDA... that 06 scoreline was vs Loudoun. Massive, gargantuan, yuuuuuuuuuge, difference. I'm talking Grand Canyon chasm yuge difference. Wow, what a difference. Massive.
