Any chance that she'll eventually do another 180 and become humble-brag Jen about how she was wrong about SO MANY THINGS in the last year or so but it was all due to the emotional turmoil and shock of her divorce and being a single mom, and then ask for people's understanding and go a whole 'nother advice direction about not letting tragedy blind you into not being your authentic self and devastation can make you be someone you don't even recognize when you look back at all the all things you can't believe you did to cope and now how you can come back and fix yourself, yada yada yada.

This is IT, right here! I didn't even bother commenting as I knew it would get deleted but I would like her to tell/ask her: (1) show us your receipts, Jen, from the last two years of how you were so diligent in being careful regarding Covid exposure. Be specific. (2) How nurses and other health care workers were begging and pleading in her comments around her big group get-togethers and other trips/outings to stop the spread of Covid in the pre-vaccine days - especially October 2020-March 2021, and she would delete or make some weak-ass response about how they were in a "bubble" which apparently consisted of about 40 people that did not all just stay home for months at a time.. (3) When, prior to this, she has ever encouraged Covid precautions of her followers. Jen, you were literally just on another "best friends" vacation last week that you were bragging about. Take several seats.

I have noticed that both her and Glennon suddenly are concerned about Covid. All the white lady influencers must have gotten the "memo" from their managers this week.

AGREED. I rolled my eyes at her post. “Can we keep going?”. Are you freaking kidding me? You’re in Texas. Your life has been barely interrupted, if at all. Your kids are still in school, probably participating in all their pre-covid activities, and most likely maskless. You’ve been vacationing like it’s your job. There is no “we” here, Jen. It’s easy to “keep going” when you’ve had to change *NOTHING*.

Big Sis Jen is experiencing the same collapse as the other pre COVID influencers - like Dave and Rachel Hollis. They were pretty big deals 4 or 5 years ago but now they’re on the steep backslide of fame and notoriety.

I keep coming back here because I guess I'm hoping someone will uncover some kind of big reveal that explains What Happened to Jen. Because I really do think she wasn't always like this; I first came to know her through her Adoption Ethics blog posts, which were really insightful, hard truths grounded in best practices, things no one else with her kind of platform was saying at the time.

I don't recognize this person who posts about their medically fragile family while traveling more than anyone else I know of in the last two years. Even just financially - who can afford to take all these "once in a lifetime" trips (I think this was the exact phrase she used to "explain" her trip to ... was it Italy? a few years ago - it's hard to remember which trip this was because she's taken at least 6 "once in a lifetime" trips since then).

And this "Me Course?" What? Other people said it better above - her whole "relatability" is built on how bad she is at everything - why would I take advice from her? She's like the real life friend you would go to to forget your troubles for a minute by joking about them, but not the person you would go to to get things back on track.

I don't know if it's just her dye job, but she doesn't look well to me, and I wonder if she could benefit from taking a social media break and really actually focusing on rest, health & wellness for a while.
