This proves that the left loves to attack the messenger (Pence) when you can't attack the message (negotiations).

The left is used to getting their way and never met a Potus who pushes back.

Trump attacked his own messenger. While Pence was trying to negotiate the compromise, Trump said he wouldn't do it. After that, Democrats said they would only talk to Trump directly. When speaking directly to Trump, he offered nothing in exchange for the wall. So of course they said no. How many people give something for nothing? Especially with someone who has reneged on deals before.

Also, gov secure website certificates have expired because there's nobody there to renew them. The shutdown has rendered multiple government websites insecure or inaccessible.

This is flatly incorrect. They have taken the position that they will not negotiate. And he is not willing to accept any border security money without the wall. It's all or nothing. That is not negotiating.

She will NOT negotiate border security until the government is re-opened. She won’t let him get away with using the US gov as a negotiation tool. How many times do we have to tell you that? She can’t let him set that precedent. She can’t let him think he can do this every time he wants his way. Her message is simple - open the government and then we will talk. His response is that he can’t do that because he will no longer have leverage. If you think it’s ok to let the potus use 800,000 families as leverage then there is something seriously wrong with you.


Our country is being held hostage by the President and McConnell and GOP senators are complicit when he is acting asa terrorist. There is no negotiation, this is extortion. America must not succumb to presidential extortion.
