What was said had to do with the pages of chest pounding by Capital parents and the constant if your not on Capital then best of luck but you have no shot correct?

Now that that is settled let me tell you that I am a little familiar and may just know a little something about the process seeing as I have had two go through it. Neither played for Capital one is at a high academic D1 the other at a NESAC so think what you will but there are others ways than Capital to be successful and that was the point...

The Capital name gets coaches to the fields. Beyond that, it’s up to the player to show the coaches they can play. Most of the other programs can’t even complete step one.

There are countless post on here where Capital parents will tell you otherwise. They will shout from the rooftops that the Capital name is what gets results—and that if you choose any other path, or if your DD happens to play for another club, your chances of success are very slim...

as has been discussed multiple times much of the work is on the families. shout out to the families for targeting the correct schools and getting it done!
