It’s really baffling. I went from having to yell at friends who were committed to not voting this election, one of them who actively works in campaigning, and now they’re more excited to vote than me??
I donated a lot of money in 2016 and worked my butt off on 2020, but I did nothing this year. I was going to vote for Biden but did not feel like doing anything. I thought I would not be excited about Harris either. I was so wrong. As soon as Harris took over the Biden campaign, I went to actblue and made my first 2024 donation. Harris being a real candidate is so much more exiting and powerful than imagining...

They might not be the same people. Overall the young people want a younger candidate, just like the rest of us.
