That's a lie. A member of congress floated the idea of reducing SS protection in the event Trump goes to jail for his felonies, given the impracticalities of a large security detail in a prison. VERY different. There was never any plan to reduce protection on the campaign trail.

Trump has a hit list and a man working on it (“self appointed” probably means, “I need a little distance from this until my supporters are charged up enough”).
