Just reported that they caught him!
He killed a woman at the store in midtown. Shot at cops! WTH. These are the people we let in. A group beats up cops.
No way am I taking my family to NYC with this going on!!!! Migrants also dragging 60 year old lady on their scooter robbing her of her phone. Are you proud of this Biden? Are you proud of this Adams? You are having American citizens killed and assaulted by migrants who in many cases should not even be here.
Anonymous wrote:When I was in Aruba I had several lengthy conversations with locals—ranging from resort staff to cab drivers and white collar professionals—and they always brought up immigration and the Venezuelan gang issue. They chase after migrants who come via boat, it makes the local news, and everyone goes on alert to find them, lock them up, and quickly deport them. It’s something a tourist notices if you watch the news or listen to the radio. Why? Because the gangs bring crime and violence.
Other Caribbean islands take a similar stance.
Ask your Latino friends if they have any thoughts on Venezuelan migrants. It’s eye opening.
And I say all this as a lefty who supports asylum. Legitimate asylum. But I’m grappling with the reality of crimes linked to Venezuelan gangs in the US. This one nyc incident isn’t the only one.

It stands out because it is very unusual. The vast vast vast majority of immigrants don't and wouldn't behave that way. These are mostly hard working people. I don't know the solution to this problem but lying about who these immigrants are and what they want is not it.
Do you have a sure-fired way of vetting now?
What is a sure fire way of vetting? There are jerks that are born right here that would flip off the cops. That happened because those people are jack asses not because they are migrants.
If a migrant cannot be vetted, he/she should NOT be released into our country. Period.
And, this is about way more than the fact that he flipped off the cops. Not only did he arrogantly flip off the cops, but he was one of the gang that assaulted them first. And, some of those arrested had previous arrests. Why have they been allowed to stay in our country - at taxpayers expense - and not be locked up or deported?
Completely agree. And most of these migrants are showing up with the border without any kind of ID at all - how on earth can they be vetted? It truly is insane. We have no idea who we're letting into the country. As for these ahole thugs, they don't deserve to be locked up in our jails at our expense. There should be buses at the ready, to return them to their home countries where they can face whatever justice awaits them there. We shouldn't be paying a dime for them.

It is expensive for US residents to pay for hotels in NYC.
I don't understand why the US is paying for free housing for citizens of other countries, plus free food, plus free medical when the illegals are legal residents of other countries.
We have a lot of seniors, single Moms, and single Dads that could use a little help who are tax paying legal citizens.
You are so correct. It is pure insanity. And, it is a pull factor. You think the people getting these freebies aren't letting their friends and families in their home countries know about all the benefits they are getting?
I am afraid it is going to take a massive revolt by people who live in these cities if any changes are going to happen.

Almost all undocumented people want them deported too because it makes them look bad and because they are preyed upon and often aren’t willing to go to the police. I feel like sanctuary cities in terms of not cooperating with border patrol feeds into white liberal guilt or something.
I really can’t figure it out. My very large extended Latino family wants them deported ASAP. Perhaps because we still often listen to news from Latin America and release there are so many criminals fleeing to the US. Fir example in El Salvador the new president has instituted a severe and draconian crack down on gangs in El Salvador. If you are a gang member who brutalized your neighborhood, extorted business, raped so many teens and young women you are being rounded up and sent to a maximum security prison. 75,000 gang members have been arrested and the result is the murder rate was one if the highest in the world a few years ago of over 100 murders per 100,000 people down to 2.3.
So all the young men with gang tattoos from El Salvador coming to the US seeking asylum are really not who we want coming. El Salvador is now a very safe country so almost no one should be getting asylum from there.
Thank you for posting.
