Literally all that tweet proves (if it's even accurate) is that Ukraine, despite being illegally invaded and having its civilians be killed and raped by the Russians, still has the decency to repatriate Rissian dead, while the invaders, murderers, and rapists can't even muster the humanity to return the favor in equal numbers.
Uh, it’s actually the exact opposite of what you wrote. Russia is returning bodies, and Ukraine is not. Either Ukraine has no bodies to return, or they are keeping the bodies. You tell me which is more likely.
DP - Given the endless lies and misrepresentations from the Kremlin, the ongoing illegal invasion, targeting of civilians and other war crimes - your argument has little to no credibility.
This war was started and continued in barbaric ways.
Argh! I am powerless in the face of your talking points.
The PP you’re defending still can’t process the English language though. Probably some Ukrainian who ran from his trench.
PP to whom you replied - maybe so.
Like many, I have developed so much respect for Ukrainians in general. Their resilience and courage in fighting for their sovereign democracy has been remarkable. I am sure that there has been some high level corruption since they are a fledgling democracy and had many billions in military aid was given to them. Not saying they were or are perfect, but they were the victims and have made many sacrifices to defend themselves from this illegal invasion.
Also, they have proven extremely tech savvy in countering the Kremlin’s propaganda war.

I see this term ("illegal invasion") thrown around quite often in discussions of the Ukraine-Russia war. Is there such a thing as a "legal invasion" -- if so, what makes an invasion "legal"? And what invasion this century -- anywhere in the world -- was "legal"?

Russia is a broken bloated feeble country. Much like maga.

Russia has multiples more population than Ukraine. At some point Ukraine will be down to zero while Russia loses a third of its manpower.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:
Here's what's missing from Sprinter News:
Russia has had over a million casualties, but most of those Russian bodies have been unrecovered, unacknowledged, or unidentified.
Or maybe they just only ever existed on paper. Paper produced by western intelligence agencies as part of an effort to keep support for Ukraine from flagging.
Is Russia taking massive casualties even remotely consistent with the Ukrainian collapse at Pokrovsk?
Ukraine's job is to maximize Russian losses as they creep forward. And the losses are insane. Even Pokrovsk is causing tens of thousands of Russian casualties.
There is no civilized country in the world that would accept these levels of casualties for absolutely nothing. The last thing Russia needs is more land. Russia is a profoundly sick society for absorbing more than a million casualties for... what exactly?
Russians are the most docile and meek people in the world. They die for nothing.
Somebody should run that by the Ukrainians...
Ukraine’s campaign has imposed very large and multi-dimensional attrition on Russia: upwards of a million Russian casualties even by credible independent estimates, visually verified lists count tens of thousands of total equipment items destroyed/damaged/abandoned across categories - tanks, infantry fighting vehicles and armored personnel carriers, artillery, missile launchers, radar and air defense units costing tens of millions of dollars; hundreds of billions of dollars in fiscal costs, and degradation of hard-to-replace capabilities (experienced personnel, large warships, modern integrated air/sea platforms). Russia’s turn to outside suppliers and foreign recruits is itself evidence the war has stressed Moscow’s manpower, logistics, and industrial base. Those cumulative effects matter strategically.
