I’m not sure if she has face blindness when looking at herself or if she just wants to be open about everyday skin stuff. Yeah it was tough to see. Reminded me of when my ex got a bad skin disease and his face was peeling. Jen has large, engorged white pores on her nose with purplish, dried out skin. Guess what, most people don’t have perfect skin all the time. Drug and alcohol abuse doesn’t help.

And guess what. She doesn’t need your approval. She’s surrounded by love. The most important critic, Tyler, thinks every speck of her is perfect. Thts all that matters.

I would not be surprised if this were true. I would just like to point out that Sis has never admitted to it. (Doesn’t she sell wine subscriptions?) Heck, she’s never admitted to any (real) wrong doing at all. She’s basically the Michael Scott of middle age, self help influencers. “Do I have any flaws? Sure! I sing in the shower. Sometimes I spend too much time volunteering. Occasionally I drink myself into a stupor and can’t function the next day. Sue me.”

Lol. Her daughter-in-law will complain to her that she feels like she just can't live up to being as awesome as a mother-in-law to her future children in-law.

I didn’t see the trip video. I saw one about letting things go. I’m probably out of the loop but is something going on with Jen’s health? I don’t want to be cruel or speculate but I’ve been following her socials on and off for years and I’ve never seen her face look like that.

Definitely she is not done with Tyler. They are going on a surprise trip (that he apparently got her for Christmas). Her latest story...again with all the preening and touching the hair.

Ok, Jen talking about letting go and not white-knuckling something that has run its course. It's almost like she's preaching to herself about Tyler. I hope she saw how much joy was at her son's wedding and realized that Tyler is not the right romantic partner for her at all and she better make a decision sooner than later.

Same. And your exception describes this wedding. They live in Buda and he has a degree in ranch management. Buda may be considered a “suburb” vs a “real” small Texas town (eg Lufkin) but he’s a hunter, they wear boots and hats as their way of dress, etc so the wedding fit both the bride and groom.

A bandana is equivalent of wearing a baseball cap to the wedding. If Tyler wears to cover his l bald spots, it’s is just tacky-take it off.

Funny - I have attended two wedding in Lufkin/Nacadoches. Not in churches and no jeans in the wedding party. Small world.

I'm glad to see that Jen may be moving on with her life if she was able to have a nice time at the wedding. Gavin and Dani look so happy and in love!

Hatmaker adjacent: Kristen Howerton had a Christmas/white elephant gift party and talked about how one of the fought-over items was a t shirt with Andrew Huberman's face on it. Given the gross expose about him in NY Mag yesterday, I think that gift didn't age well at all.

I thought Gavin had been with Dani for a lot longer than just a year.
