GZ will surprise a lot of people how much better they are this year. compete Not just because they've been able to actually practice this year, but some key incoming pieces adding to all of the players mentioned above.

This is a fairly accurate post.

Everything you indicate further indicate Gonzaga will not have a potent offense this Spring and will have a tough time scoring.

Sounds like their close defense, keeper, and SSDM's will keep them in games but in this day & age, you need to be able to score.

Gonzaga's offensive last year was pretty ordinary based on the games that I saw.

Lots of dumb stuff posted here but trashing a specific player who is a teenager not cool. It is also very inaccurate. Georgetown is one the his year’s sleeper favorites to go far. I am sure the coaches know what they are doing and would not take a poor player.

I don’t get the DC Dog Gtown commit. Small, slow, and not a factor ever. PVI didn’t lose much. Don’t see what’s changed. That said, the NC and Rutgers commits are awesome. But one of the Gonzaga attack can’t play at all and is afraid of contact. What helps them is the rest of the league is terrible. GC and DeMatha are pretty weak this year and Yorktown would beat the rest of the league by over 10. The SJC games against BI, O’Connell, and SMR are going to be awful.

This. SSSA doesn't beat themselves and routinely steals a game from Landon/Prep/Bullis when those IAC teams are perceived to be stronger.

What makes you think Gonzaga will really be any better this Spring? Do they have a fogo? Can the UNC attackman carry this team on his back? Any promising prospects or transfers to fill in the shoes?

I find it odd that GZ parents and boosters are quick point to how covid impacted their program harder than others when every other program was dealing with that same logistical issues.

Don't sleep on Saint Stephens this Spring.., everyone seems to forget about these guys across the river. The Saints are always well-coached. Will they be in the same league as SJC this Spring, probably not, but they have a talented senior class that has been playing together for the past few seasons. Landon and Prep would be foolish to look past these guys.

SJC clear number one, with Landon and Prep battling it out for the number 2 spot in area. Next tier is Bullis (key grads with no backfill), PVI (competent but not scaring anyone), and GZ, which was a dumpster fire last year and there’s no reason to believe 2022 will be any different. Could see SSSA competing with that group as well, senior laden and well coached.

Yes. It was like 10-2 in 2nd quarter and Gonzaga pulled starters.
