Not saying she needs the conservatorship. But she may well have severe mental illness.
Given the timing I think postpartum depression/psychosis could be the dominant illness. She’s been shielded and drugged up since then.

He’s been allowed to be around through all of this while she was cut off from others and that’s a little suspicious to me.

I am guessing that the reason she needs an “ID” (what she calls her IUD) is that she is on medication for a serious mental issue, but just isn’t bright enough to remember that her meds will mess up a fetus.
And I have seen kids in the process of being removed from the custody of unfit parents. Even when it was obvious that the parent was an actual danger to their kid, it took sooooo much time, documentation, and legal hoops to make that happen. No doubt there are some serious issues beyond anything known to the public that resulted in this woman losing the right to parent her own kids. I doubt Brit understands herself, though, so we aren’t going to ever know.
I know it's none of our business, and it's absolutely appropriate for it to remain private, but I am so curious what exactly her diagnosis is!
It’s schizophrenia. Which may be diagnosed as bipolar (with schizotypic features.) But it’s not a mood disorder.

Those aren't facts, and I have to disagree with all of them.
That said, she does seem like a kind person and I hope her life turns out better than many people fear it will.
