OP of this thread here! When I started this thread, even though I was wishing, 2 flipped senate seat was beyond my imagination. I just cannot believe myself this morning. This feel unreal! I was so sad that we lost SC, NC and ME senate seats... but today’s news made up for all the disappointment!

This has been stated again and again.... Trump is an idiot and he and his cult followers constantly shoot themselves in the foot; their strategy can be summed up in the adage "cut off my nose to spite my face".

Think about how Trump handled covid and the messaging around it in relation to the covid vaccine. If you keep saying that it's just a flu, and the pandemic is a hoax, then people who believe you won't get the vaccine, which prolongs the pandemic, which is IMO one of the reasons why Trump lost, because of the way he managed the pandemic.

That's just one example of how Trump shoots himself in the foot.

DP.. I don't disagree, but as an Independent, I think the Rs need to go. Disagreeing on policy is one thing, but the Rs are supporting insurrection. That is way more dangerous to this country. People who support killing our democracy should not be in power in any way, shape, or form.
