My personal theory is that some of the people who died were very hard to live with and the people announcing the deaths have mixed feelings.

On Twitter and on Reddit, a ton of examples of this exact scenario (MAGA anti vaccine posts on FB seem in screen shots, followed by that person’s hospitalization and/or death).
Herman Cain Awards.
I don't know if it was on here or in some opinion piece about the Herman Cain Awards reddit page, but I read a comment saying that one of the most disturbing aspects of these scenarios is how accepting the families seem to be of this fate. "He was my best friend and the love of my life. We'll miss you, Scott!"
A lot of those people have a vested interest in pushing the narrative that covid is nothing special and that we should all welcome death with open arms whenever and however it comes to us. It is disturbing because there’s a gaslighting quality to it.

Fully vaccinated with no symptoms.
I find Kavanaugh’s presence on the court nauseating, but even I don’t think he belongs on this thread. He’s fully vaccinated. What evidence is there that he thought covid was a hoax? It seems like his diagnosis is only newsworthy as an explanation for his absence as the court starts meeting in person again.
I am the OP of this who thread and agree with PP - there's zero evidence that Kav is a COVID denier forced to learn the virus is a hoax, and moreover he seems to be totally asymptomatic which would probably just affirm most COVID-deniers' position that the virus is NBD. They've probably also ask why bother getting vaccinated if you can still test positive while ignoring that probably being vaxxed is what is making Kav asymptomatic but whatever
Inasmuch as he’s fighting for the benefit of the side that calls it a hoax, treats it as a hoax and pushes disinformation about it, it seems like he’s fair game.
Oh sure, I don't mean don't mention him - I just feel like he's not a case of hoist on his own stupid petard, as so many others on this thread are. People who loudly insisted covid didn't exist, then came covid to insist that it really does.

Anonymous wrote:The sad part about all these MAGAs dying of COVID is that they're literally being convinced to not get vaccinated by Facebook memes. These people are turning themselves into human memes. These people are their politics. We used to be able to discuss politics and then stop. We would then have discussions about all kinds of other topics. Now some of these people literally are their politics. They cannot separate anything in their lives from politics. Their personalities are Facebook memes now. It's pathetic.
