She's a murderer. Some of you white people just need to understand that the institutional racism that served you so well since this country's founding doesn't extend beyond its borders .
suh-mack!
tell it

The Brazilian police interviewed Palmer, the Australian swimmer who was robbed, but after a 6 hour interrogation, decided there was nothing they could charge him with and he too is leaving the country.

Has this already been commented on - this quote from one of those articles just makes my head swim:
"Swimmer Josh Palmer will also be on Monday’s flight home after being interviewed by Rio police for nearly six hours on Saturday over his claims he was robbed at gunpoint in Copacabana. An Australian Olympic official said police accepted his version of events and no further action will be taken."
Questions for SIX HOURS because he said he was robbed??? And he becomes the criminal. Insane.
Gambit wrote:He was a bit of a jackass for urinating on the wall outside instead of going inside to the restroom, but I don't think he lied. Think about it: You're drunk, maybe high. You stumble into a sign, and don't even realize you broke it. then some guy, not in a uniform, flashes a badge and points at gun at your. He's yelling at you in another language that you don't understand. He demand's your money. You're probably going to feel you were robbed too.
Then the Brazilian authorities blame him for vandalizing the bathroom. A witness form USA Today said he never saw them go in the bathroom. Why would he even go in there, the jackass peed outside on the wall. The filthy savage.![]()
They are just blowing it out of proportion because they were embarrassed and they want to embarrass Lochte and the US.

No, because he is white and American, his defenders feel that his actions were justified.
If he really thinks he has a valid defense then let him go to Rio and face justice there ........ but then the Brazilian lawyers and judges you have cited will of course be suspect and incapable of rendering justice objectively!
Meh. I think he's faced enough justice.
I live in DC. If I call the police because someone peed outside and tore a poster, the police would laugh at me. But maybe Rio's got their crime under control more than we do here.
Probably not though.
Perhaps, you should tweet to Lochte that he is free to urinate in public in DC and tear a poster when he next gets intoxicated and he will get away with it.
Huh? Why would I do that?? I don't think that behavior is good or well advised.
^^PP you seem confused and overexcited. Maybe you're sitting too close to the screen? Remember to drink lots of water, nana! We love you!

All of it is laughable. He is arguably a POC. Everyone agrees he is dumb, and thinks it's cool to make fun him for it. Haha.
I don't think that the Batista reference is laughable for the reason that you think it is. It has little to do with him being a POC.
No, you're probably right about that.
It's just funny how what counts as a POC changes. No one doubts that Lochte is dumb or screwed up.
hahahahahaha do you even get the Batista reference at all--you are so completely clueless LOL

He seems to have only a rudimentary understanding of cause-effect and every time he tries to express himself it comes out as meandering, incomprehensible drivel that has only a tangential relationship to the English language. Giving PR advice to someone is useless if they can't absorb and apply it. Talking to someone about their word choice only helps if they have the vocabulary to make that choice. I'm sure he has plenty of strengths in other areas but he makes Michael Phelps look like a Rhodes Scholar.
Stfu. You mean to tell mean Lochte isn't smart?!
You may be even dumber than he is. Do you not see that everyone is already shaming him for being dumb?
(For real though, I have family with mental challenges; can we stop with shaming people because they aren't smart?)
NP. Mental challenges and not being smart are two different things . No wonder you're rooting for Lochte
