Very conservative newsmax says they were told by Pennsylvania police that they think it’s glass fragments that hit Trump.
Stop spreading this , it is wrong!
There is NO credible evidence that Trump was hit by a bullet.

So we have moved on from “this was all staged” to “it’s Trump’s fault he was shot”?
Yes, blame the victim.
Isn’t that what Trump does? I mean, the victims of the attacks on January 6, the women he’s assaulted, people he’s defrauded. The list can go on …..
DP. Actually Trump thinks victims are weak. Ergo, he is weak.
He survived an attempted assassin’s bullet.

Yes, the best response to senseless gun violence. Let’s all lift this problem up to God. God what says you? Hurry. We’re tired of waiting and your silence is deafening.
Anonymous wrote:So, an assassination attempt.
BUT also a mass shooting, with 3 victims, 2 in critical condition.

Unconscionable that this was allowed to happen.
Major failure on the part of DHS/Secret Service etc.
Thankfully Trump narrowly avoided serious injury/death.
Unfortunately a couple of his rally attendees were not so fortunate.

Remember, Republicans never take responsibility for their violence. 1/6. Charlottesville. Guns without limits.
Scalise shot. Trump shot. SCOTUS judges needing increased security after rulings like Roe vs Wade to the point that Garland authorized 24-7 protection. Biden saying Trump belongs in the crosshairs. What alternate world are you living in?

No political figure has ever stoked as much violence as Trump. He’s supported neo nazis, undermined our elections, and stoked violence against his own VP and political candidate. So no, I don’t feel any sympathy for him. What goes around comes around.
We can be against everything Trump stands for but still be sympathetic to the plight of all politicians and rally-goers who are victims of gun violence. It appears that Trump nearly lost his life tonight. One of his supporters died. This is not OK.
Yes, it's well known that Trump has incited violence multiple times and has denied the dangers of Covid such that many of his supporters died of it. You can deplore the act without liking the man. But if you're going to hold the higher moral ground, instead of wallowing in the mud with this guy, then you can damm well express decent sorrow that he was shot at tonight, and that someone died.
I am deeply sorry that one of his supporters died. That is tragic. But that's on Trump. He has incited so much violence that it's no surprise that someone, probably mentally ill, turned the violence on him. His supporter was an innocent victim, and my heart goes out to his family. But Trump is to blame for this. He loves guns, and has outright told the NRA that their guns will be safe as long as he is president. He will not attempt to control guns at all. You reap what you sow. This is all on Trump.

Dear God.
The death of one of his supporters is all on the nutbag who thought it was a good idea to carry out an assassination attempt on a former president and a current presidential candidate.
Don't try to blame Trump for the violence carried out by this idiot.
