Northeastern has a great history of supporting the working class. Those so-called elite schools were catering to rich families and had built country club like cartels. They are now saying they proudly and generously share some spots with the lower class.
Northeastern served the working class from the beginning offering night classes for them and established the coop program. The coop program and the industry relationship goes all the way back to the beginning. MIT was also a vocational school in the beginning. Rome wasn't built in a day.
Looks like the NEU booster is a prestige whore who is obsessed with NEU’s relative lack of prestige. It’s ok, one day everyone will know that there is no difference between Cambridge, Oxford, Harvard, MIT, and Northeastern University.
Truly mystery what made this person like this.
This is some serious mental disease.
Or they are associated with the NEU marketing department
NEU doesn't need marketing when they receive 100k apps from high stat kids.
Use your head?
Harvard has a marketing department. What do you mean NEU doesn’t need marketing?
Sure Harvard also has a marketing rep posting on DCUM college board.

The "hater posts!" Too funny.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:I fell down the rabbit hole of this bizarre post earlier today! It’s pretty obvious there is some sock-puppeting going on by the poster that keeps raving about NEU, accusing all critics of being rejected applicants who have a mental illness. Downright odd repetitive posts that read like a ChatGPT troll bot.
That is exactly what I was thinking about the hater posts - including OP and those like them!

Stop with the hate. Everyone gets it that you don’t like Northeastern. I feel like the hater is the one ruling this board making up outlandish booster comments in addition to the crazy hate.
NEU booster we know it’s you making the outlandish claims that you want to walk back because it got called out and it is obvious to most of us about what you are doing.
Wonder why does a shrill old lady hate Northeastern so much? Did they steel your candy when you were a child? No normal person acts like this.

Before covid/TO, NEU's SAT scores were pretty much the same. Even on this basic, undeniable fact, the DAR grandmothers cling to the idea that the world has not changed in the past 50 years. Unreal.
2020-2021
SAT 25%-75%
1430-1540
For comparison's sake:
Boston University
SAT 25%-75%
1340-1460
In fairness, BU has a stonger humanities program, so international relations, communications, etc. score lower than engineering/computer science, science, pre-med majors.
Northeastern's SAT score is impressive. Really odd that someone's biggest gripe about the school was it was a commuter college 50 years ago!
