Lol, and that’s why he feels free to say things like he wouldn’t date a 72 year old and that if he was the lead his women would need to be much younger. He knows his appeal, and I can’t really hate him for that. I think he is spot on with a show like Golden Bachelor/ette needing to cast regionally for the lead because the reality is most 60-70 year olds have built a full life in their current location and are going to be loathe to just walk away from that for someone they’ve known for 6 weeks.

Agree 100%. Other than the most rural locations, there should be enough applicants to do a regional cast.

Contestants supply their own wardrobe, but the lead has a stylist employed by the show. I would imagine they work together to select the looks, though.

I don't think it will be Jonathan because he made a point last night of saying that he's "met someone." That was a signal to me.

They also had an audience plant stand up and yell "Charles for next Golden Bachelor!" Of course it got a round of applause but.. no. He doesn't have the personality to carry the show through the season.

Not sure about Pascal. There is something a little sleezy about him that makes women not want to cheer for him.

I don't think it would work given how things worked out with Joan. All of that stuff about having been so in love with his ex, and how he is clearly not over it.

That statement about only dating much younger women is too age-ist and anti-woman. Probably a deal-breaker. I'd like a guy like Dan, in real life, but not sure he can be interesting enough to lead the show.

I think it would be stressful to be Pascal's girlfriend. You'd never be able to go without make up or look messy. He likes a high maintenance vibe.

On the upside, Joan's make up is so much better, softer, more natural. I think her face is moving more naturally, maybe??? -- around the lower face.
