Wrong thread. We don't care about fcv/StJ anymore. Take that drama to their mega thread.

To minimize injury, AG is best as that's what it's designed for. IMO the next best for minimizing injury is FG, or you risk a fall injury in TF. It is slick when wet. Might as well be ice

Agreed. My daughter used Puma futures this past year which are multi-ground. I have found those to be very universal and made better than other brands for youth shoes like Nike or adidas.

I have gone down a few rabbit holes recently on this subject as there is too much coming out these days about torn ACL's especially for girls. It seems that you never want to use FG on artificial grass but can use AG on grass and artificial turf. While many of the fields around here are turf, I approach them as artificial grass as they are a bit grippier than the indoor stuff. The studs for FG and AG are noticeably different. For turf (basically carpet on cement, typically indoor), turf shoes are best but can use indoor shoes too, but may slip some. My kid is younger so I just use FG for grass, AG for artificial grass and indoor shoes for indoor turf and futsal. This is probably overkill, but youth shoes are not too expensive and I am getting really paranoid about her knees. I am not sure if others are as paranoid as I am but sharing a few thoughts for consideration and thoughts.

Nope. It's not cheapo turf like most places. My kid has turf shoes for indoor soccer and prefers her regular cleats at Revolution.

No, there is no need for turf shoes.

My DC used only cleats on turf when she was younger. HS age now and prefer to wear turf shoes on turf and cleats on grass.

Though with how much you love talking about the bar/drinking I'm assuming half of you are drunk writing troll responses. 🫠

I did have to chuckle.. there were responses on July 4. And I thought...awe such sad little men that they don't have friends or plans such that they have to spend time on their phones.

Or the middle of the night trolling. Go to bed; why are you're sitting in a message board attacking kids at 1am?
