It is rather amazing that Meadows is taking the stand in this.

Jeff Zients should take notes.

Someone should walk over and arrest him on the spot for violating the Hatch Act.

That's a different trial (not Georgia)...it's difficult to keep track of them all.

Meadows arguing to move his case to federal court today because stealing an election was part of his duties as chief of staff.

Or are they hoping Willis won't be ready and their charges will be dropped?

It seems the easiest way to get their trial separated from Trump's. For whatever reason, Chesebro doesn't like his odds on the conspiracy charges when the entirety of the case is laid out.

Sidney Powell? She's a hot mess. She personally directed a team to inspect voting equipment and take data. So maybe she wants to go first, see how the trial develops and then accept a plea because the bigger fish is still to come.

Notice how you didn’t say falsify votes?

Do you really think that getting illegal access to a county’s votes is ok somehow?

Kemp and Raffensberger are Republicans too and they both defeated Trump-aligned challengers last year. So it really depends what kind of R this person is.

That really wasn't the question.

I think they would just mount a retrial.
