Well my kid is very conservative. His political leanings do not represent mine. Nor did my political views match my parents. I love that conservatives are so brainwashed that they can’t possibly conceive of someone acting a-political. Trump has a long history of shady business dealings. Trump’s accountant and legal fixer both went to jail for this. You are who you associate with and Trump’s not above the law.

What is odd about this? His chief financial officer and his company have been convicted of multiple fraud charges.

It seems very unlikely that all would be felonies. I can’t say for sure, and neither can the person on twitter. I’ve read a lot of indictments, and I don’t think I’ve ever seen all felonies, unless it was a case with a handful of violent crimes. These are supposed to be fraud charges.


And fraud, particularly tax fraud, is a felony.

Doesn't take a lot to get to a felony when property/$ is involved - I don't know what the $ amount in NY is but it's usually a pretty low number to bump up to felony.

What, exactly, is the overreach?

Isn't it overreach to not prosecute crimes?

Why do you believe Trump, who's foundation and business have also been found guilty of Fraud, shouldn't held personally accountable for the same crimes?

Oh chill. He probably meant because trump is a criminal. They can't vote so they shouldn't hold office. And presidents should be held to higher standards, not lower ones. Unfortunately the founding fathers did not anticipate a grifter and bully so they felt they didn't have to actually codify some of these norms of being a decent person.
