I watched that video and that kid didn’t have a chance, did he? He still needs to be punished to the fullest extent but It was eye-opening. They weren’t even a little bit contrite.
I reject the “he didn’t have a chance” premise. Many kids are raised like that and DON’T shoot others. He’s in HS - old enough to be out in the world and learn that shooting people is WRONG. There is something fundamentally wrong with him.

When will citizens organize and say Enough is Enough?
They did when george Floyd was murdered.
The did when parkland kids were murdered.
When are lazy, privileged moco kids going to “organize”?
You raised them.
The Citizens need to demand basic school safety. NOW.
What does "basic school safety" look like?
Calling for police response for attempted murder not community engagement officer.

Everyone responsible for not aiding the victim should receive punishment commensurate with their level of involvement.
Totally agreed.
Not providing aid is not punishable. Reprehensible, sure. But not a crime.
"Punishment commensurate with their level of involvement" is all that's needed if they were involved.
