Lmao. You think the delusional liars here are ever going to admit they were stupid to think Ukraine could win? They supported over a million lives being wasted so a russophobic NATO could slightly weaken Russia. Zero moral compass.
The fact that Kiev still stands is proof that Ukraine is winning.
What are we now, 884 days into Putin's 3 Day Special Military Operation?
That's a fail for Putin.
Actually, Russians invaded Ukraine in 2014, so it has been 11 years of war.
Chronology, to remind people:
In 2013, Ukraine’s parliament (the Rada) was preparing to sign an EU Association Agreement, signaling a pro-European shift. But under pressure from Moscow, President Viktor Yanukovych abruptly reversed course, going against majority will of the Rada and the Ukrainian people and opting for closer ties with Russia. That betrayal sparked the Euromaidan protests, a massive pro-democracy movement centered in Kyiv.
Yanukovych responded to those protests with brutal force, deploying Berkut riot police to suppress demonstrators. The crackdown backfired. Public outrage intensified, and by February 2014, Yanukovych fled the country. His ouster marked a turning point: Ukraine had rejected Russian influence, and the Kremlin retaliated.
Russia launched a hybrid war. First came the “little green men” - masked, unmarked Russian troops who seized Crimea and key infrastructure in Donbas. Despite Kremlin denials, investigations by Bellingcat and others confirmed their origin and coordination and provided evidence. Russia staged sham referendums to legitimize its land grabs, aiming to fracture Ukraine from within.
Ukraine resisted. As fighting escalated, Russia dropped the pretense and sent in uniformed troops, occupying Crimea and backing separatists in Donetsk and Luhansk. And that's how it started in 2014.
And if anyone wants to know what became of corrupt Putin puppet Yanukovych, he now lives in a $50 million dollar mansion in Rublyovka district near Moscow. He sold Ukraine out and now lives in Russia near his daddy Vladimir Putin.
