I am guessing that the reason she needs an “ID” (what she calls her IUD) is that she is on medication for a serious mental issue, but just isn’t bright enough to remember that her meds will mess up a fetus.
And I have seen kids in the process of being removed from the custody of unfit parents. Even when it was obvious that the parent was an actual danger to their kid, it took sooooo much time, documentation, and legal hoops to make that happen. No doubt there are some serious issues beyond anything known to the public that resulted in this woman losing the right to parent her own kids. I doubt Brit understands herself, though, so we aren’t going to ever know.

Agreed. It is extremely difficult to terminate someone’s parental rights and for a parent to loose at least joint legal custody. I have seen parents who did serious physical harm to their kids not lose custody especially if they agree to go to anger management etc. the fact that those 2 boys are unable to live with her should give anyone on the free Brittney train pause

While I don't think her father might have been the answer to her problems, I do worry that ending the conservatorship cold turkey might be a mistake. She has not lived as an adult. She has not had any responsibilities. Everything has been done for her including making doc appointments, business decisions, even when and where she could go. She is essentially living as a 14 year old. I wish her the best but I suspect she will spiral down. I hope she has some form of support other than her boyfriend and family.

It's a "hail mary" tactic on his end, pure strategy. Nothing to do with actually caring for his daughter's well-being or wishes. Daddy dearest is now desperately trying to slither away without punishment for what he has done. What a d!ck.
Britney's attorney: In his Tuesday email to the Associated Press, Rosengart wrote that it appeared as though Jamie Spears “believes he can try to avoid accountability and justice, including sitting for a sworn deposition and answering other discovery under oath, but as we assess his filing (which was inappropriately sent to the media before it was served on counsel) we will also continue to explore all options.”

One would have thought that her family would have been working with her all this time.

I don’t know what’s going on with her or her family but neither do any of you. Also Michale Jackson probably wouldn’t be dead if he had had a conservator.

Listen to how this woman talks. My god, she kept referring to her IUD as "my ID." She has the vocabulary and expression of a not-very-bright 13 year old girl.
Furthermore, it is clear that somebody recently removed whatever system was in place to monitor and edit her IG posts, and look at the embarrassingly crazed garbage this adult woman is posting: her almost 40 year old self turning cartwheels, a few shots of herself clutching her bare breasts, cutoff shorts unbuttoned and pushed down, and a few others that were eventually deleted (maybe a friend pleaded with her to take them down).
Britney has a low IQ, terrible executive function, is very immature, and probably also suffers a medical illness. She needs to have a conservator.
Posting ridiculous photos on social media is not grounds for a conservatorship

This grim forecast is already out there:
Within one year: n*de photos, more tattoos, married and pregnant.
Within three years: surrounded by users, at least half her money spent, substance abuse and hospitalization.
Within five years: gone
If her family had cared, they could have treated her in a caring way.
They treated her like a cash cow.
