Team was strong pre-Covid19, now they have a new coach that has won championships. Something VDA has never done. Adding new players to the team strengthens his depth. He’s Brillant.

They are brilliant. They have a new coach who will take them all the way. If the girls work hard they will learn. Parents need to calm down and trust the system.
They’ve already been to a national championship final game, Mikey. Just don’t screw it up.

If they added 16 players it would be a pool. If they added 1-2 it is just a bigger squad to deal with the change from 12 month ECNL season at u14 to 6 month at u15. Brutal schedule with a lot of double header weekends. It’s normal, our Mclean Team had 25 players and was not “pool”. Pool would have 2 teams playing in different events and leagues with players moving around.
Whatever you call it, 11 on the field and 14 on the bench is not great for development.
Mclean players know going in what the situation is. They are okay with it.
They are until they find out what playing spare minutes in only half the games really mean.
