We got a blue team offer earlier today for one of our older DC but not the younger who also played blue this season. I think the coaches make the decisions about when offers go out. The groups that have 100 kids trying out are obviously going to take longer to get out than the smaller groups. There are also a lot of new coaches for next year, some of them probably looking for more technical players to round out the current teams a bit. If you're worried or curious, reach out to your coach or age group director.
GFR really didn't want to do tryouts this early either. They've avoided it in the past but got a lot of pressure from the surrounding area clubs who are sending offers to GFR players. Honestly I think it's crazy having tryouts in March. These kids deserve to play their Spring season without tryout drama and their teammates leaving mid season or even thinking about it. Tryouts should be in May. If the new season doesn't start until July/August why are we doing these tryouts 4-5 months out??
I’m not a GFR parent but I also hate how early tryouts are. Why is my kid trying out in February, before the spring season actually begins, for next year?

So its really easy to tell at tryouts where the other non-GFR kids are coming from.
they all mostly wear their club jerseys either way.
