The winning teams will be ones with the follow: a) the team with the better players on the spine (x, FO, SSDM, goalie) b) # of seniors who play.
Agreed.
Lacrosse is a game of 1:1 matchups.
The better coaches will improve their preparation as more film becomes available.
Comparative scores alone tell us very little about the competitive makeup of future matchups - especially this early in the season.
Faceoffs and ground ball battles do not care who is committed where.
Tiers within leagues and the DMV will emerge over the next month.
In the meantime, I love everyone talking their s**t!
I am not convinced we know who's who quite yet.

PVI has a 1 goal OT win against STAB. STAB then beats Spalding. And now PVI is supposed to dominate the WCAC after years of irrelevance? Seems a little early, no?
If their offense is better than SJC D, I have yet to see that. PVI boosters may be jumping the gun a bit, but I love the enthusiasm.
Okay Johnnie, you’re right. Everything runs through military road (except the last two years). Big Tasty will return and make everything okay for you.
Unclench, Janey. Seems like he was asking a perfectly reasonable question. Time will tell all around.

Spalding was ranked #7 in IL and #6 in USA Lacrosse and STAB beat them handedly.
PVI beat STAB. Just dropping that here
PVI shows up really well on film with this game with a great win. Balanced scoring both at attack and middle. I love the Richmond mid on offense, although he can't play D a bit. He has real explosion in his legs. The D is decent, but not great. They do play together and seem to communicate the slides well. I still like SJC a bit more, but I wouldn't be surprised if PVI beats them. The rest of the WCAC is just average right now, with GC being the biggest disappointment. Still, a lot of season left, so things can change.
