I heard a retired Col who has served in Niger speak on this yesterday. They may have waited because they thought they could handle the attack. This is not unusual. The investigation will surely find the answer. And, as to where they found La David’s body - I really believe we will know the answer to that.
The fact that there are several survivors of this attack will help in the investigation. They can recount the experience which I believe, will provide many of the answers.

And.....she never said that so stop spreading lies. She never even implied that.
Sure it is.
Kelly is not to be questioned, despite video evidence of his lies.
Now the Gold Star widow is being questioned and attacked, even on this forum.
So not only is the implication there, but the facts bear it out.
She was speaking about Kelly in regard to his position as a 4-star General. Nothing about being a Gold Star parent. Sorry your narrative fails.

The part of Niger that they were in is not controlled by the Zerma Tribe who runs the country, it's controlled by the Hausa and Tuareg Tribes. The government has little control there. How any mission in that part of the country could be considered ""low risk" is unbelievable, especially since, as we now know, the village elder did his best to delay their departure.
Where did you hear it was “low risk?” That is not what I heard. I heard they did not expect any resistance, but that the region is inherently dangerous.

Why is it NOT okay with you for Trump to be opportunistic, but okay for the Congresswoman?
I'm not lambasting either person for being oppurtunistic, just questioning an inconsistency.
Seriously. you don't see a difference between a president who is obligated to make these calls (and keeps them private) and a congresswoman who betrays the sanctity of a call that she's overheard by publicizing its content for her political gain? I'm no Dotard fan but I don't see how this guy is getting bashed and that crazy lady is getting a free ride.
Not only is she getting a free ride, but she's demanding an apology!

It's how this entire ordeal started.
True. Trump's inferiority complex about Obama strikes again.

But black lives don’t matter to conservatives.
