That was the most bizarre thing. I wonder if he'll piss off some hackers enough to start digging
LOL!
Anyone who was offended by that has already tried to dig.
And, according to many on DCUM, we do have an obesity problem in the US. It is pointed out frequently by DCUM posters. But, when Trump points it out, it’s offensive?

Agree. Can't imagine what the rest of the world thinks of this mess we have on our hands.

My read is that Hillary won on points but the performances of both candidates will not change the minds of a single one of their hard core supporters. I have read that many Americans watch only the first 30 minutes of these presidential debates and if this is accurate, then that was when Trump did best and the average voter who has not made up his/her mind would be able to relate to what he said.
She clearly got under his skin especially in the second half of the debate and at times he came across as incoherent with jumbled thoughts.
For those who are not hard core supporters and are still open as to who they will vote for, there is nothing he did that would turn them off. Hillary's trust issues - which is her biggest problem - were not overcome by her performance yesterday.
So the crux of how those undecided people will vote has to do with who they think is a "change agent" and on this, Trump will win hands down because he is not the establishment politician the way that Hillary is and has been. So when he asked the question as to where she was the last thirty years in terms of making the needed changes, that will resonate with some of these undecided voters. It really does not matter if she was really in a position to effect changes in the roles she had in public life - most undecided voters will likely decide that she is not going to make the needed changes.
Trump achieved what he needed to do in this debate given that the bar he had to overcome was lower for him. Some of what he says at a visceral level is the sort of stuff that many voters actually do feel and he gives voice to their thoughts.
Have you watched the debate?
