NP here. I’d be very cautious with Clemson offering merit aid to OOS. It’s a public university that typically gives very limited, if any, merit to OOS students. I’m sure your child is more than worthy of merit aid but if your child is OOS I wouldn’t expect a game changing merit award from Clemson. From another public school with a higher admission rate, like Bama or LSU or ASU, sure but not from Clemson. Good luck.
2 years ago my out-of-state son was offered $8,000 in Merit from Clemson. It was obviously not enough to make the school comparable to our in-state options. But then, a month later, we were offered an additional $16,000 in something they called an out-of-state Grant. So, you never know

New poster. Yes, Clemson sent separate email yesterday saying DD is top of very competitive pool of applicants and will receive scholarship in March.
