ECNL is governed by US Club Soccer. US Club Soccer said the age matrix changes in 26/27. ECNL doesn't need to make a separate announcement. Why this is so hard for people to understand, I have no idea.

I am curious if they go with 9/1 or not. They seemed like they wanted 8/1 and per what US Soccer put out they could go 8/1 since no announcement maybe this is considered??
Also would like to see if they make any adjustments in the spring.

Because there are a bunch of posters here who want ECNL to have some clever strategy where they make SY happen this year someway, somehow and they want those details so they can be the first to take advantage. Whether that's tethered in reality is another question.


This! AND most of those parents are not in ECNL but want to be, hence why they want the advantage.

GA and ECNL already know they are changing why they are waiting makes sense. No need to at this point if clubs already know then let them announce it.
A formal announcement should be sent out no later than January hopefully just to clarify any confusion.

Out of curiosity, I went thru all the posts of that poster. All his emails/screenshots since last year has been spot on so far. And when his source is not sure about something, it would simply say so.

The only crazy person is the one who refuses to take in anything he doesn't want to hear, and attacks everyone who believes otherwise.
