Still wouldn’t count them out
wow - glad you refrained from listing any excuses(didn't play best...several turnovers... not their day....).

What was smart about how Oakton played?

Which team has progressed since game 1?
I would say Madison has not taken a step backwards except for a surprising 13-13 tie with Western A who got beat by Meridian and YT.
Robo lost to Madison 2nd game of season but besides a close game with Oakton has boat raced weak competition but has looked strong doing it. Wednesday nights match up with BF is a test that they could have a quarter or 2 of acclimating their game to stiff competition.
BF came out of the gate strong. Solid wins 3 out of first 4 games but then had to stay focused as the next 4 games were the weakest part of schedule. Tough to say if they built on the fast start. I would say they did not get stronger after playing those 4 weak teams even though they played solid D and scored at will. 2 crucial injuries last week have definitely changed their dynamic and weakened them as a team. Both starters should be back before end of season and when that happens I give a slight edge to BF filled closely by both Madison and Robo.

Not sure Meridian beat WA (sorry, 10-6 WA) and Madison v WA was 11-11 (shortened game due to weather).

I honestly agree. I think Madison Robinson and BF are all great teams and I think that any of the three could win. It all comes down to post season and who plays their game when it matters. And at the end of the day yes these games have a role in a team’s success but I think that it depends on how they do post season. Any given game.
I agree. I think people are reading a lot into one game. I am not a BF parent but I don’t think the team should be discredited. They are strong and have a chance just like any other team in 6a. It all comes down to post season because thats when it matters
