Invest in neo-natal and youth health, provided annual check-ups and dental care and school based breakfast and lunch if desired...and what are the chances that kid has a better health and education outcome than if none of these things were available. And then, if those things are not available, for the kid who didn't have them, how productive will they be in society? What are the chances their poor dental care results in worse macro-health outcomes? How formed is their brain? Will they be someone who is productive to society or someone who drains society for decades, perhaps in jail?
The question is where is the money for this “investment” coming from?

Early part of the year there were lots of Democrats wanting to replace Harris as VP, articles in prominent journals that she is a drag on the ticket.
Even as late as July 19, AOC was saying they were looking for changes to both parts of the ticket, that lots of Democrats are saying this.
Now she is the second Obama.
