This has always been the case with Potomac. That coach cares only about winning but has no sense of how to do so. Certainly hasn't actually developed any players, just recruits them then thinks she can win with a few strong players, while she leaves strong athletes, who could contribute with good coaching, sitting on the bench. It's very frustrating to watch this happen for so many years. She has no trust in any of her athletes unless they are on the Capital A team. The rest get benched or told to just run around to fill the space.
You clearly are a former parent with an axe to grind.
I was at the Potomac - Visi gsme this afternoon.
Visi was the better team, controlled the tempo of the game except for the early stages of the 1st quarter.
Potomac has no bench and thus little depth. They might have had 5 - 6 girls on the bench today. Visi on the other hand has bench of at least 15 girls on its bench.
News flash, when you have the inferior team and don’t have the horses to run with visi in the midfield, you should try to slow down the game when you can. Visi as we all know is loaded in the midfield and it shows.
Potomac had plenty of offensive chances but shot poorly.
Based on what I have seen thus far, SR is the team to beat in the ISL.
May be a bitter parent but they aren’t wrong. Potomac has just as many fast D1-quality middies as Visi. Potomac may have a shallower bench but have a stronger starting line. With a good coaching they’d have beat Visi.
Potomac d1s are great players but visis midis are all ranked players so there is a caliber difference.
Visi's midis are overrated. Scored almost all of their goals on gifts from refs on free position shots.
Funny. What does that say about Potomac then?
Goalie play was better for Visi and Potomac’s backup on shots was atrocious
No dog in this fight. First statement completely false. Potomac goalie kept them in the game, stopping numerous 8 meters and had a number of point blank saves. Agree on second point..
Sort of sounds like you might have dog in the fight. Potomac dad, possibly?

This is the typical Potomac parent bs. It's a different demo and applicant pool. Saints has similar constraints and it hasn't hurt them laxwise.
Anonymous wrote:Visi has a definite home field advantage with their joke of a short field. Their restraining line is literally right on top of center circle. Pee wee field penalizes athletic teams and familiarity definitely helps Visi..

Saint Stephen’s academically is just average.
Sure it’s a better alternative than the public schools in Alexandria.

Do you understand how rankings of individual lax players work? They have to pursue it. It’s not a pure process. It doesn’t mean much other than v other players who pursued rankings too.
And, by "pursue", you mean "pay for".
