Help me understand - what would be the consequences of the trial? I thought he would have to purchase Twitter (specific performance), but are the other consequences? More than just the cost of trial and attorneys fees?

But that DCUM poster was so adamant he was going to win because he Twitter defrauded him or something. I'm sure she'll be back to apologize for being so incredibly wrong.

He’s adopting the Trump strategy: he’s trying to delay his trial and run out the clock. He’s hoping Twitter will come to the table and agree to delay the trial.

No one should fall for this crap.

Interesting, but the "original terms" included a bunch of debt financing. I'm going out on a limb here, but my guess is that the lenders might not be so eager to lend to the project after Elon's boondongle attempt to get out of the purchase.

Unless he's found new lenders. Kind of interesting this came out the day after Elon tweeted his Russia-friendly "peace plan."

You think he's planned ahead? Ha! This proposal will not last more than a few days.
