Jen is not gaining new followers much. At one point years past, she had over 800k followers on Instagram. Has she even cracked a million?

This book will have at least one chapter entirely dedicated to Tyler. As someone else mentioned, he got a full in print dedication on her cookbook when they had barely known each other. I guess having your boyfriend publicly humiliate you repeatedly is not as bad as *gasp* being a single woman.

Jen has the ultimate white savior complex, complete with shitting all over other white saviors as if she isn’t the same. She treats one black child like a surrogate husband and the other black child like a bug.

All that being said, I’m still checking this board so I haven’t completely given up on her ❤️

Every church has problems, because churches are full of people and people have lots of problems. Even progressive churches have problems. Don't just take some random commenters word for it concerning the Anglican church. They're just one person with an opinion. Do your own investigation.

Wholeheartedly agree with this. Every single church has problems bc it’s filled with broken humans living in a broken world. Everyone walking around Earth is a sinner. That doesn’t mean you have to accept egregious things that you witness bc there are some people there with an intent to do harm. But I also don’t think you can single handedly condemn one sect of Christianity over another. If a church doesn’t work for you, try another one. Southern Baptists, Methodists, Catholics, Anglican, whichever you look into, make the decision to form your own opinion based on your own experiences. And know that churches with a label can be very individualistic. I stumbled into a Baptist church in the South recently that had a Pride flag at the front door.

Dang. I'm born & raised Church of Christ, in Alabama, and I was hoping to find a home in the Anglican church. It's so disheartening to hear that it has as many issues as any denomination. My denomination is very conservative and a lot like the southern baptist except without the musical instrument. We're acapella only.

No, but instead you've indicated you'll attend a progressive church where the clear teachings of scripture are deliberately rejected or ignored from the outset. You're also free to make that determination, but I wouldn't call it an improvement.

I read Bessy’s post about weight loss and my thought is this (from what I’ve seen people go through): to lose a substantial amount of weight, you have to actually do SOMETHING. This is in the form of calorie restriction and exercise, if you’re not going the Ozempic route. Yes, you have to change your mindset and you have to be disciplined, but you don’t just utter the word nourish and bam, you’re thin. Most people I’ve known to lose a lot of weight had to somewhat step into “diet culture” (measuring food, tracking calories, etc). I have zero doubt that she put in the work. It’s the making it look effortless and easy that is annoying. “Guys! I figured out all I had to do was NOURISH!” Yeah. Ok. It’s this type of nonsensical writing that is so irritating. Basically these people are just influencers under the guise of “spiritual director. The only people I actually like of this ilk are Emily Freeman and Kate Bowler.
