The guy was a deviant who met the ending he deserved but was also a mastermind at manipulating the well-connected “elite.” They all drank it up and fell for it. They made fools of themselves, and Epstein hardly had to work at it. Sure, many of them are smart, successful people with first-class resumes. But he was more clever and crafty, and most likely enjoyed playing with them very, very much. It was a hobby for him, like playing poker. He led them off the edge, and they didn’t even know it.
