When people say they don't believe in god I always assume they are either lying or just like to be different, but deep down I can't wrap my head around how you just can't believe in god.
Are you a native born American? To each their own, but you're an idiot. But I guess that comes from not being educated beyond high school.
I am a white American. Unfortunately I do have a college degree. My parents made me go to college and it's something I'm not proud of. I will have to take it up with god one day and hope he forgives me. No I'm not trying to stir the pot, just stating my beliefs.
Hopefully God will remind you of the educated women in the Bible.![]()
I'm a god fearing person. I don't think I will ever be forgiven. But I try to do better each day.

Not a minority view.

In this economy, you'd think they'd care about how their perceived -- but instead they make it clear how much vacation time they NEED, how they must leave work by 5 pm even in professional positions and yet are the first to "demand" a promotion not by saying -- I accomplished x, y, z for you, but by saying -- I've been here for a yr, I think it's time I be promoted, I've put in my time.
I think the ones who work even moderately hard will be shining stars in this generation, since their peers are so lackluster.
They may be frustrated that you get to decide whether to promote them- they're not their
Didn't it always used to be that way -- your boss got to decide whether and when to promote you? You couldn't typically promote yourself or get a promotion just by demanding it -- and certainly not at age 23 when you haven't done anything different or better than the rest of your colleagues!?
This person is implying that because you confused "their" and "they're" you're not worthy of a management position. As if copyediting is the pinnacle of human achievement.
