LOL @ anyone who thinks Trump does ANYTHING that isn't about attention for himself.

In all seriousness: Are you just that stupid or you just lie on his behalf? There's nothing that will make you look good when it comes to supporting him. Nothing.

And spare me whatever nonsense you want to say about Harris or Biden. It doesn't work on those of us who dislike them, too.

It's downright creepy how you guys defend Trump and then you think you're "owning" people when you do it. When you do that, it looks more like you have mental issues than making any actual point in defending that rapist filth.

Because Republicans are hypocritical trash. I'm not a Democrat and I don't like them, but only an idiot could not see military deaths are political pawns for the right. It's why the same clowns who screamed about f o u r deaths in Libya and demanded hearing after hearing after hearing, never had that same energy for a f***ing NEOCON/PNAC war based on lies leading to the deaths of over 4400 troops and a million civilians. I didn't see Kristol or Frum or Cheney or Feith or Rumsfeld or the countless other blood-thirsty war criminals get their a$$es hauled before committees to be yelled at for murdering that many people based on lies. I didn't see Republican sh*ts attack Cheney for psychotically lying about some Saddam-OBL connection. This is why I laugh when buffoons on the right say the media is "liberal." Blitzer allowed Cheney to sit there and lie to the American people. The media did the bidding of Neocons and they're also the only reason Trump ever became president. They allowed that birther scum a platform to lie. They covered his klan rallies. He got free advertising from that "liberal" media. That's what the media has always done.

“Trump closed the State Department Special Visa office, which meant there was no one to process exit VISAs in a timely manner.
Trump negotiated with the Taliban, directly, cutting out the Afghan government.
Trump released the 5,000 Taliban warriors who then terrorized the country before Biden even took office.
Trump pared the US presence down to 2,500 troops before Biden took office, and Biden couldn't escalate without violating the "deal" he and Pompeo struck.

The whole thing was a "set up to fail" operation. Just like Trump and Netanyahu as it relates to Gaza, just like Trump and Putin as it relates to Ukraine and just like Trump and the GOP senate as it relates to the Border Bill.

Trump surrendered to the Taliban and created an impossible situation. Many of the US Afghan allies suffered from his betrayal as well.”

Don’t forget Trump invited Taliban leaders to negotiate with him at Camp David. His handlers shut that down thankfully.

Trump refused to engage in transition of power meetings and left the Biden administration blind to some of the cynical deals Trump made. The withdrawal agreement is one of them.

Seems reasonable. So in this case, MAGA has the okay to believe the military, right? The MAGA playbook involves situationally believing the military depending on what's convenient in the moment.

So you believe this Marine is lying?

No, I have no reason to believe he's lying. That's what I clarified in the post directly below. Is this a case where you choosing to believe the military? Is it more convenient to the narrative this time?

As opposed to the military saying that the campaign violated the rules of section 60?

The rules not a single poster can list or link to?

Ooh ooh, I CAN!!!!

https://www.axios.com/2024/08/29/trump-arlington-national-cemetery-rules

You are so welcome. (I hope you are able to read.)

Trump followed all the rules.

The ANC says he did not. I believe them. Especially over a proven liar. Why do you disrespect our beloved national cemetery?

If you think I am disrespecting our beloved national cemetery, I can definitely say you are not discussing this issue in good faith. You are accusing everyone who doesn’t agree with you of disrespecting Arlington.

Do you think the Gold Star Families are disrespecting Arlington as well, by holding a wreath laying ceremony and visiting the graves of their sons and daughters with the man who they invited to lay the wreath?

Was this ceremony disrespectful?

The act of using it as a political ad on TikTok was disrespectful if that's what you're asking.

There was no campaign or election signs, slogans, etc, no exhortations to vote, etc.

What made the tik tok a political ad? Be specific.

What? It is from his campaign to support his candidacy. That is the point of campaign material.

The material is not from his campaign. It was from the wreath laying ceremony.

Uggg. The tik tok ad on from his campaign. Ok. Not the ceremony.

The tik tok has no campaign or election ads or verbiage or endorsements or signs or anything to do with the upcoming election. Biden was president during the Abbey Gate bombing. Harris was VP.

The campaign ad said "they". It compared his administration against their administration. But are you saying you don't hold Harris responsible? That's refreshing.

So you are designating a tik tok with no mention of the upcoming election, no mention of the Trump campaign, no reminders to vote, no mention of anything to do with either the campaign or election, a “campaign ad?”

It is from the trump campaign. Yes it is. Take it up with Arlington national cemetery if you object.

It’s not a campaign ad, it’s a tik tok. It doesn’t mention either Trump’s campaign or the November election. Trump was invited on the anniversary of Abbey Gate to participate in a wreath laying ceremony live streamed by mainstream media outlets.

You think the Gold Star Families want to be in Arlington? They do not.

The political ad was posted on TikTok by his campaign. He contrasted his administration with theirs. Campaigns are being conducted on social media these days. This should really be straightforward to understand, even for MAGA.

When Biden gave his exit speech from the Oval sitting at the Resolute Desk he contrasted himself and Harris with Trump. Where were you then?

??? So you're finally admitting that Trump's campaign created a political ad. Finally.

There is absolutely zero proof that Biden and Harris were invited. And, to prove that, you can look to the sourcing that claims that it was intentional to make Biden and Harris look bad, JUST AS COTTON IS DOING HERE.

The whole thing was a put-on to gaslight voters into believing Trump give a sh*t about anything, and particularly our fallen war heroes.

And people like you fall for it every.single.time.

Cotton just lies but I guess he lies so well. If the family just wanted to meet with Trump and maybe take a couple of pictures nobody would be discussing this.

The whole thing was set up to create video to be used by the campaign and you’d have to be a complete moron not to admit that.

NYT actually had an article today about how when McCain’s campaign used private footage of him walking in Arlington in a campaign ad he said it was a stupid mistake and immediately edited the footage.

Trump is disgusting and everyone who props him is too

Anonymous wrote:The Trump campaign better hold on to the footage they claim proves they didn’t assault the cemetery worker. I bet Congress is going to subpoena it. Charges can still be filed up to a year after the incident. It’s going to look bad if they can’t produce it. After January 20, I think there will be hearings. Trump should fire those two campaign workers and get ahead of it. I’m mindful that Trump didn’t assault anyone here, it’s alleged two of his goons did.

Looks like Jamie Raskin is looking into the matter officially--hopefully he will ask for the alleged footage.

Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.) asked the U.S. Army in a letter Friday for a full report and a briefing on former President Trump’s visit to Arlington cemetery, after reports of a confrontation between his staff and cemetery officials surfaced. Raskin, the ranking member on the House Oversight Commitee, sent the letter, obtained by The Hill, to Secretary of the Army Christine Wormuth. The lawmaker asked her to provide a report on the incident, including whether the former president’s staff “violated federal law or Cemetery rules and whether the Trump campaign informed the families of service members buried at the Cemetery that their gravestones would be used in Mr. Trump’s political campaign ads.”

I just read CNN's article today on the ANC incident.
What stands out to me is that they do NOT-
-state what the rules are for the cemetery, including the rules against photographing headstones of graves than the ones they are visiting
-even mention the sgt whose headstone they absolutely did not have permission to photograph, and the public statement of that soldier's sister to the media.

I've read a lot of criticism that the MSM does a terrible job of reporting when it comes to Trump (guess what, they give him way too much slack) and have begun to recognize the ways this happens.

Again. What do you or I know? The army and the cemetery object to it.

All but one or two of the Abbey Gate are Marines. What do the Marines say?

Do you care about the feelings of the family members at all?

Including the family members of the dead soldier buried next to the soldier Trump went to see and whose gravestone appeared in the Trump TikTok and photo? Do their feelings count? Are you brave enough to answer?
