If Gerry is, at heart, at a time in life where he wants to keep it simple, then Faith and Leslie are not going to be the right "speed" for him. Theresa might be more on that speed level.
That doesn't mean there is anything wrong with Faith, or Leslie or Theresa or Gerry. It's just a matter of finding someone who wants to live life at the same pace as you.
Yes, good point. Although I find Theresa quite boring compared to the other two, maybe that’s better suited to him at this stage in his life.
I don't know what "securities professional" means, but it suggests Teresa is at least somewhat smart. She's 70, so she's probably not on the trading floor, but maybe she owns a brokerage or day trades, who knows. I did find Theresa pretty disingenuous during the whole Kathy spat. But it's probably going to be Teresa.
I just can't see Leslie and Gerry together--she's the wrong "speed" as you say. Also I'm not sure what they talk about besides ATV rides and Leslie's life story. Finding a steady man is great, but you need something more to do/talk about in your daily life. Maybe we just don't see that deeper connection happening.
He should have kept Ellen.
Does anybody else have their fingers crossed for Joan coming back? The producers extended the season from 8 to 9 episodes.
Interesting!! I had forgotten about her.
She seemed like a quality/together person.
(I was appalled by the woman who missed her daughter’s wedding to be on a realty TV show!)
Agreed. Who would miss a child’s wedding to be on tv? She wasn’t reading the room well either. He wasn't that in to her. Didn’t he pick her for a one on one date that was never shown? Did I miss it?
How do you know about the missed wedding but can't remember the one-on-one date?
I am not riveted to the tv the entire episode. I saw her get picked and didn’t see any details of the date or they were super brief.
But they called the daughter to congratulate her on her nuptials ON the one-on-one date.

I'm sure he loved her dearly, but this is his one and only chance to play the field and feel desirable to a group of hot women for the first time one his life. He got swept up in it and made some mistakes. I think he's probably a pretty nice guy who never imagined in his wildest dreams he could pull a Faith or a Leslie. But at least he's giving some thought to compatibility despite the headiness of it all.

Just watched Hometowns episde and I do think Leslie is a better fit for Gary. Easier connection with family, less pressure. Unless producers are trying to trip viewers up. I've never watched the Bachelor before, so don't know the game.

100%
It’s the mouths more than anything!
All of it, the hard glassy faces. No bueno.
Same! The natural faces 100% look better than the weird fake faces.
