Is it understandable, though? I'm no Kevin Costner fan, but Christine filed for divorce. Why would he continue to pay her mother a monthly stipend? And the People article mentions she has a boyfriend. I don't know if that's true, but Kevin shouldn't have to fund her life and especially not her new life with her new beau.
The guy is Kevin’s friend, he was with her in Hawaii; she say he is not her boyfriend but he loaned her $20k.

That’s some hubris to expect the man she is divorcing to continue paying her mom $5k monthly. I guess the transactional relationship works when both play their role. She seems to have filed because she was lonely, he is gone all the time earning money to support her lifestyle. This whole thing was so poorly thought out by her..it’s like she filed and expected him to just give her whatever she requested in the filing; she is stupid.

Sorry, it wasn't clear - he said that going forward he doesn't want to take projects that keep him away from home. However it wasn't like Christine was tied to the home and children when he was away, she had a nanny and later a household manager who looked after the children and all their activities, someone who did all the cleaning, a chef who did all the shopping and cooking etc.
Caring isn't determined by how much someone spends on you. Christine could have easily worked and helped her mother out. I don't really think of Kevin positively except in this court case, I am on his side.

Nah, this woman is the fool and the more she fights and whines about it, the more it shows.
I think her current lawyer is a fool to think they could challenge Laura Wasser and actually win.
Or her current lawyer just happens to have a fool for a client.
