Can somebody please explain the process that the WCAC AND VISAA undergo to establish the conference teams? Is there any policy on evaluating one player versus another? If so, where's that at? OR, is it subjective and all hocus pokus?

How much input or influence do coaches have?

Does one school get more nominations based on their record (be it a winning season or losing season)?

Appreciate it.

Programs where parents have a speed dial to ADs and then turn over coaches every couple of years tend not to be successful regardless of talent.

Why would anyone want to coach for a school where the parents run the show and the AD can’t manager her coaches? Stone ridge has the most abusive coach out there but somehow she stays. It’s all how the schools deal with it. HC lax coach was phenomenal. Unfortunately, a bitter parent with a bone to pick about playing time and big donor $$’s won the day. Sad for the girls and the coach.

The basis of the parents complaint was not related to playing time but rather to continuous personal profanity-laced verbal attacks on the part of the coach towards their daugjter(s).

Poor HC. Their school and sports program is really struggling.

Bi must have a good idea who idea who will be their next coach. I seriously doubt those bf girls would transfer not knowing who will be the next coach.

GC got #1 ranking in Washington Post. SR, PVI and SSSAS also included in Top 10.

wow, what kind of person attacks these girls like that? You are just sad. I always thought it was just that one Battlefield parent but now it may be all of you. I truly understand why they would leave and can assure you they will be welcomed and fit in fine at BI.

Maybe not everyone wants to play at SR, but apparently many do when you look at the depth of the team compared with other schools and the great college destinations year after year. She is a tough coach. So is KJ. But she would jump in front of a train for her players like she did with my daughter. Success draws criticism from the also rans. Better luck next year.

Yes let’s see how it goes in the coming years.
