Can a troll post positive comments?!
It’s positive to you. A troll is someone who posts something they don’t care about but says it to fire people up. This person doesn’t have loans. I did have loans and I worked hard to pay them off and am working hard now to pay for my kids college. I have skin in the game. The troll has no real stake in this other than to try to appear benevolent. Well the troll can donate to some other scholarship program with the trolls money. This Biden give away is being funded by people like me who paid back our loans and are saving now and pay hefty taxes too.
You are not personally writing a check for $10k to forgive someone’s student loan. GTFO with your pathetic victimhood. You are not a victim. You are a spoiled brat.
In your Orwellian world I am the brat... In my day the kids are student loans didn’t do they stuff and stayed in student housing as long as possible becaus it was cheapest and at crap like ramen. The modern student loan recipient is unencumbered. But yeah. Call my state school, living with family, working 2 jobs to cover tuition because the federal loan wasn’t enough butt a spoiled brat.
Right now we, my young adult DCs and DH plus friends, parents are dumbfounded. All want a check or tax credit per student for this freebie. And for those who went to grad school or do STEM and are over the income limit? And if in public service category and paid back the money? While a slug did not?
One said - should ask for a pay cut to get the 10k!
Wow, you had your kids read Ayn Rand! How special.

Society would collapse if everyone chose their degree solely on the money making aspect. We genuinely NEED artists, teachers, child care workers, sociologists, therapists, researchers and other lower earning careers. Pretty much all jobs benefit society in one way or another, not just ones that pay $X after college. If everyone got a STEM, law, CPA, medical etc degree, there wouldn't be enough jobs to go around and now we'd have a bunch of "deadbeat morons" with huge debt and no job because those markets would be saturated. All education is good education.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Also, why in the hell is he extending the moratorium?
PAY YOU BILLS you deadbeat losers. Absolutely zero reason to extend the moratorium on top of this while he tries to pump the unemployment numbers.
Creating a gigantic generation of morons who’ll feel permanently entitled to everything and who’ll always cry to the govt to get what they want. This is sickening. Put a moratorium on mortgages while you are at it.
“Pay you bills?” Deadbeats? Morons? Let me guess: you “paid your bills for an English major.Like many Americans, you overpaid.
NP, but I feel frustrated by this too. I paid my loans. I was responsible. My degree was in Accounting and I became a CPA.

Anonymous wrote:^also, “chipping in” doesn’t solve the greater problem at all. :/ universities need to change and go back to focusing on educating students as a top priority. The money making model is not working.

Anonymous wrote:Honestly I feel depressed & hopeless about politics. I have no doubt the GOP is going to sweep the midterms, and do really crappy things in office to undermine our democracy.
And they’re going to do it because Democrats keep focusing on unpopular crappy legislation.
I’ve always liked Biden but he is embracing policies that Americans overwhelmingly dislike.
