Don’t be silly. Bullis has scholarship kids under the new HC. Many of them do (maybe not St Albans). Perhaps SJC is more aggressive but they all do it. I’m not sure why more IAC teams aren’t playing SJC, but it isn’t because they’re the only ones offering money for athletics.

Not sure why Prep or Landon isn't on SJC's schedule this year, my guess, is both programs are afraid of suffering a "L". In my eyes, the only way to get better as a team is by playing better competition. Also, the MIAA teams also appear to be "ducking" SJC, it's not just the IAC programs. No Calvert Hall or Spalding. Where is Saint Mary's or McDonogh?

I've listed SJC's non-league schedule below. The Cadets can only schedule teams who are willing to play them. I'm sure Wes will play anyone.

Hilly Academy, elite program from Canada, will play anyone as they are desperate for games.
Academy of the New Church, I've never even heard of this program, anyone know anything about them?
Episcopal Academy, coached by PLL coach, very solid program from Philadelphia but not on the same page as Malven Prep or Haverford.
Boys Latin, is always a top 4 program in the MIAA, year in and year out.
St Anonthy's, Long Island Catholic School power, is this game at a neutral site?

And fully agree with the previous poster about the WCAC needing to be split up into 2 divisions. Have an upper and lower just like they have in basketball and football. The WCAC commissioner is just too smart though

Bullis has proven they will play anyone. Good for them. We welcome them. That'll be the game of the year in the DMV. Two loaded teams battling it out. SJC is the King...to be the King, you got to beat the King!

Are we being serious. No coach or school unless directed by leadership will not schedule a game. Nobody cares what kind of swag is given out. If SJC can, good for them. Swag doesn't win games people.

With the season right around the corner, and now that most teams have posted their schedules, which programs have really stepped up and put together a tough non-league schedules.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say STA and Gonzaga have really challenged themselves with tough non-league schedules.

Former player and coach here and disagree with your statement.

At the end of the day, if you are a very good player, it doesn't matter if you are playing at a St Johns, or a PVI or even an STA or Episcopal, the college coaches will find you. You will likely have the same opportunities regardless if you play for a WCAC or IAC program.

You will have more choices if you keep your academics up.
